MS-873 Premium Goatskin TIG Welding Gloves, High Dexterity
Product Overview
TIG is about control—tiny filler rod movements, clean starts, zero fumbling. These TIG welding gloves are built around that reality: soft grain goatskin for a close, “tool-like” feel, paired with a thin, dexterity-first build that stays responsive while still protecting against light heat exposure typical of TIG work. Goatskin is widely used for TIG because it’s supple and offers excellent dexterity compared with heavier leathers.
What makes them TIG-right
✅Goatskin grain leather for fine control and better hand feel
✅ Keystone thumb / gunn-cut style on comparable TIG designs to maximize flexibility when you pinch, feed, and reposition
✅ Heat-resistant stitching (often Kevlar-thread on premium TIG gloves) to improve seam durability
✅ Long gauntlet cuffs commonly used in TIG gloves to extend wrist/forearm protection without bulk
Leather & Performance
Premium protective leathers including split cowhide, top-grain cowhide, top-grain goatskin, pigskin, and water-resistant leather, selected for the ideal balance of heat and spark resistance, durability, flexibility, and all-day comfort in demanding work environments.
Applications
Ideal as TIG welding gloves for stainless, thin-gauge steel, automotive fabrication, pressure vessel tack work, and any job where you need maximum dexterity and a clean feel at the fingertips.
